TCA PEELS (Medium Depth)
What is a "TCA Peel"? A Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel is considered a medium depth chemical peel. During this procedure, a chemical solution is applied to your skin to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion.
How does it work? Getting a chemical peel is a safe process that removes a micro thin top layer of skin. Removal of these damaged cells stimulates cell division that results in plumper, healthier, newer cells. Our aesthetician will help you decide if TCA peels are right for your skin.
What does a TCA peel do?
- Look younger and freshen your skin
- Remove age spots and fade skin discolorations
- Smooth skin texture
- Improve dull skin color
- Improve superficial & medium depth wrinkles
- Improve superficial acne scarring
- Remove unsightly blemishes
- Vanish sun freckles and "liver spots" on your shoulders, hands and face
What should I expect afterward? Once the treatment is completed, you can expect to shed the dead, outer layer of skin for approximately seven days. Following this, you can expect your skin to be completely healed within ten to fourteen days. At that time you will notice improvement in the appearance of your skin, which will have less wrinkles, blemishes, and pigmentation problems. You will also notice a healthy glow as your face appears radiant and shining.

GLYCOLIC/LACTIC CHEMICAL PEELS (“Lunchtime” Peels)

What is a chemical peel? A chemical solution is applied to your skin to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion
What is a "lunchtime" chemical peel? A “lunchtime” chemical peel uses a milder chemical solution – either glycolic or lactic acid - depending on your skin type and goals. These milder peels enhance your facial skin without the irritation, discomfort, and recovery time associated with deeper peels like a TCA Peel. It is called a "lunchtime" peel because there is virtually zero downtime so you can be in and out over your lunch break!
How does it work? Getting a chemical peel is a safe process that removes a micro thin top layer of skin. Removal of these damaged cells stimulates cell division that results in plumper, healthier, newer cells. Our aesthetician will help you decide which is the best type of peel for you skin.
What it does:
- Smoothes and softens the skin
- Diminishes fine lines
- Decreases acne
- Evens out discoloration
- Increases moisture retention
How long will it take? Mild peels usually take about 20 minutes, making the procedure convenient and accessible at any time of the day, even your lunch hour!
How often should I get my sessions? For optimal results, chemical peels are performed in a series of 6 peels, every 10-14 days. Most people notice a change in skin appearance and texture right away. Improvement continues over the course of the treatments revealing fresher, younger skin.
